Any questions? Go to lego-Starwars.qhub.com!
Looks like Lego's back to kick some brick! The coolest one yet, you can do virtually ANYTHING. (No, you can't do build your own adventure - yet). Lets start with the basics. Controls are easy, but on the PC you have to press (k) to grapple, (u) to change person (or to "get in" a vehicle), (j) to jump, and (I think) (a) to fire.
NOTE: all of these are changeble, but it's still difficult. I use a Rumblepad, this is so much easier!
Basic rule: to access certain areas, you will need gold bricks. To get these you will need to complete levels, complete minikits, or do a space level. It is a good idea to have a spaceship, you can visit the Seperatist version of the Resoloute. It is an even better idea to change into Artoo as soon as you get there, who wants to be shot at by droids, and sliced by Dooku? Also, you can't buy anyone in the Seperatist ship if you're not an Astromech, droid or other Seperatist.
Here's some know-how.
How do you destroy silver and gold objects?
Simple! To destroy silver, you will need a rocket launcher or a grenade, however silver cannons can only be destroyed by an explosive tank gun. With gold you will need a machine gun to over heat it. Both can be obtained on Rugosa. To get them you, go on the Asajj ventress levels until you get to Rugosa, play and complete it to obtain Luitenent Thire(Z-6 cannon), Jek (rocket launcher), Rys, (DC-15 blaster) and Yoda (Yehaa!). The Seperatist version of Luitenent Thire is a super battle droid, but they only fire fast when you are one, or you're forcing it upwards. Cad Bane also has grenades. Another way to destroy gold is to have a squad of troops, and order them to fire at a gold object. However, building, on ground battle levels you will need (for silver) a tank with an explosive gun, or a sqaud of rocket troopers. For gold you will need either a sqaud of troops (blaster troops), a laser tank, or two players with machine guns both firing at once. Handy tip: On all ground battle levels you get speeders right? Well there is a red brick called Super Speeders, and Super Speeders basically means a speeder which can destroy EVERYTHING. But it will cost you 40,000,000 studs.
How come I can't unlock characters from the levels I've played?
You find and buy them. Most Republic characters you can get quite easily, as you get most free. Most Seperatists are costly, and can only be obtained in the Seps cruiser.
How do I get spaceships?
Buy them from the hanger. You will need ten gold bricks to get in there, and you can only buy them if you've completed space levels, and some Republic ones are free. Can't access the Geonosian Starfighter? Just PAUSE go to EXTRAS and put the secret code EDENEC in.
I'm stony broke! What's the quickest way to earn money?
Buy X2 money (located in the hanger) to double the amount of money each stud, X4, X6, X8, or X10. Another way is to play Storm over Ryloth, you can earn a fortune off there. A new stud (a purple one) is worth 10,000 studs! So keep your eyes peeled for them! (Tip - Yoda can crawl into a hatch in the Resoloute, which is on the bridge. In there there is a Purple and a blue, not to mention a red brick as well).
Boss Levels
Boss levels are levels when you fight badies harder than the average droid. For instance, are you stuck on the level where you kill R3-S6? He is quite easy when you know how to. Simply tap the key in time with the flashing letter, and so on! General Greivous on Vassek, where you first battle? No worries, as all you do is force a box into him, and turn into a clone and pull the grapple to pull his legs off! (I actually thought that was quite funny). On the same level, there's that beast with the ugly mug. To kill him, grapple him on both sides, then do the jedi special ability.
Below is the Invisible Hand, and the Resoloute. The stars represent different parts of the spaceships. Red is the Bridge, Green is the Engine room, Yellow is the detention block, Blue is the vehicle hanger, Purple is the guns, Light green is the minikit display, Pink is the sniping area, Brown is the Tank storage hanger, Black is the Spaceship Hanger, Orange is the Bounty Hunter Qaurters, Grey is the Targeting Bridge and the lines connecting them are (Brown) walkways and (white) elevaters.

2011-04-14 19:19:45 John says: "As a Dad I am concerned about my son playing realistic shoot-em-up games, but I do think that this game doesn't glorify the deaths that happen in the game. This is despite the graphics and standard of game-play being very high and realistic; it just doesn't emphasise the killing of more adult war games like Call of Duty.
A great feature of this game is split-screen. Two players can collaborate against the enemy, or fight each other. The split-screening automatically appears and disappears as the players move close and further apart. It's kept my son and friend entertained for ages, using their Logitech Rumblepads as xbox-like controllers.
I'd thoroughly recommend this game, and by today's standards it's not expensive either (under £30 I believe)."
