These were my favourite toys recently, from Lego Mars Mission:

I got the claw, the trike and the astro-fighter.

These are all the goodies I've got.

I've also got two green aliens and a small undefended spaceship (which I've already built).

These are all the baddies I've got.

What I was after is:

  • Eagle command base
  • Recon dropship
  • The Miner (which is used to mine crystals).


Ludo and Draughts

Have you ever played Ludo or Draughts? Well, I have, and they are both fun board games.

These are instructions on how to play Draughts cleverly:

  • Make sure that your opponent moves out one, in front of one of your pieces. Then the one to the right of that piece moves to the right of the other piece , and you have a lucky capture ready.
  • Set it up so that you sacrifice one of your pieces, but when your opponent takes that piece you are able to do a double or even a triple jump (if you're lucky).

If you've never played Ludo and someone buys a set for you, this is how to play:

  • You need at least three people in the game, otherwise it can get a bit boring and blocked up.
  • When you get a six on the dice you may take your piece out of home and roll the dice again.
  • The game can take at least an hour, or longer if there is a block-up or if lots of pieces are sent back home.

Do you like Lego Star Wars? I used to like it and i've got loads of sets . but on the other hand I have got "STAR WARS EMPIRE AT WAR: GOLD PACK" and I like it. A LOT.

the best lego Star wars sets are the old ones. I liked the AT-AT Walker which is a huge machine on four legs. It has eight laser guns and the toy is powered by battery. If you're thinking about getting it from a shop, Why not go to this website: AT-AT Walker. The Ultimate Collector’s AT-ST is pretty cool too.

You can also get keychains and other things like that.

Mancala

Mancala is a very simple game where you have to collect the most pebbles on the board. There are only a few rules, but there are lots and lots of ways to win and lose. It's a strategy game like Chess or Draughts, but is much faster to play; it only takes 5-10 minutes for a game.

Zedbugs are really fun things to ride on. You ride it by wiggling the steering wheel and you move. I don't have one but my school has some of these as a reward for our Stamp Stanley work. We got a big cheque for £2800 to spend on all sorts of different things. We have a big shopping list!

Our Stamp Stanley project won out of 1000 schools (and in Europe). Italy and Germany and Spain schools entered, but we had the best.
