Where I went on Holiday

In 2005 I went to London, to get my passport. I went by train and it took many hours to get there. I arrived at St Pancras Station with my Mum and baby brother Tristan.

We went to the park near the hotel on the first day. We got totally lost in London, and it took us ages to find the hotel. We stayed at the hotel for one night.

On the next day we went to the American Embassy to get our passports. After that we went home.

The park that we went to was where the Tour de France took place two years later, in July 2007. We went to watch it live, and everything was amazing. It was very busy, but we managed to get to the crash barriers next to the course and saw some very fast cyclists. We also saw lots of funny vehicles carrying things like giant tyres and kangaroos, and also shaped like foxes. The cars were throwing things out to the people in the crowds.

We saw Buckingham Palace too.
