These are two wierd tanks I know:
- One tank has a wierd gun that has a ball with two holes in the side and one in the front, and is made of metal. It is the Tiger Tank, and was first seen in action in 1943 (or thereabouts!).
- The next tank is very heavy. It is called the Tog II and weighs sixty tonnes and most other tanks can outrun it. It has incredibly strong armour if we were going to shoot it.
The Sherman DD wears a big skirt and can float. There is only one left in the world and it lives at Bonnington Museum in Dorset. If you go there you may see it - but it is mostly covered up. If you dropped the Sherman DD from a helicopter it would float to an enemy beach and blast the defences without the defences knowing.
